【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도진천교육지원청은 13일 진천 관내 학부모 40여명을 대상으로 서전고등학교에서 ‘변화하는 대입에 대한 이해 및 방향과 준비’를 주제로 학부모교육을 실시했다.
이번 교육은 진천 관내 학부모에게 자녀의 진로, 진학에 대한 이해를 도우며, 학생의 진로 설계 및 진학에 필요한 대입정보력을 강화하고자 했다.
특히, 충북진학교사협의회 대표인 충주 중산고 교사 김주석을 강사로 초빙해 ‘변화하는 대입에 대한 이해 및 방향과 준비’주제 강의를 진행했다.
교육에 참여한 한 학부모는 “오늘 교육을 통해 입시를 앞둔 자녀를 키우는 학부모로서 우리 아이에게 맞는 대입 전략을 알 수 있었고, 진학 설계를 위하여 어떤 방향으로 접근해야 할지 이해하는 좋은 자리였다.”고 말했다.
서강석 교육장은 “교사뿐만 아니라 학부모의 자녀 진로 진학지도 역량 강화를 위한 교육을 진행하고, 더 나아가 학생들의 자기 주도 진로 설계 능력을 강화시키기 위한 학생 맞춤형 교육도 지원을 아끼지 않겠다.”라고 말했다.
