정국은 13일(한국시간) 열린 ‘2024 빌보드 뮤직 어워드’(Billboard Music Awards, 이하 ‘BBMAs’)에서 솔로 앨범 ‘GOLDEN’과 타이틀곡 ‘Standing Next to You’로 ‘톱 K-팝 앨범’(Top K-Pop Album), ‘톱 글로벌 K-팝 송’(Top Global K-Pop Song)을 휩쓸었다.
정국은 지난해 ‘BBMAs’에서 솔로 싱글 ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’으로 ‘톱 글로벌 K-팝 송’ 트로피를 거머쥔 바 있다. 올해도 동일 부문의 위너로 호명되며 2년 연속 수상의 영예를 안았다.
