【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=2025영동세계국악엑스포 조직위원회(이하 조직위)는 18일 엑스포 기본실행계획 수립과 관련 자문위원회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
출범 이후 두 번째로 열린 이번 자문위원회는 오전에 주행사장(영동레인보우힐링관광지)과 연계행사장(국악체험촌) 현장설명을 듣는 것을 시작으로 오후에는 영동세계국악엑스포 기본실행계획(안)을 보고받고, 각 위원들은 자신의 전문 분야에 대해 심도 있는 자문으로 뜻깊은 논의를 나누었다.
2025영동세계국악엑스포 자문위원회(위원장 이문희 충청대 교수, 부위원장 강호중 추계예술대 교수)는 지난해 출범해 24년 8월 1일 첫 번째 회의와 분야별 수시 자문을 통해 주관대행사 선정을 위한 협상 노하우와 엑스포 전반에 대한 전문적 의견을 조직위에 전달하는 등 행사의 성공을 위한 길라잡이 역할을 톡톡히 하고 있다.
당초 8개 분야 33명의 전문가로 구성된 자문위원회는 지난해 11월 문화교류와 관련해 다양한 경험을 보유한 전문가 3명을 추가 위촉하고, 올 초에는 공연예술과 민관협력 분야 전문가 6명을 추가 영입하여, 현재는 42명이 소속되어 운영되고 있다.
조직위 관계자는 “이번 자문위원회를 통해 위원님들의 다양한 의견을 수렴해 기본실행계획을 보다 구체화하고 성공적인 행사 추진을 위한 전략적 방향을 설정할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.”고 전했다.
한편, 영동세계국악엑스포는 ‘국악의 향기, 세계를 물들이다’라는 주제로 오는 9월 12일부터 10월 11일까지 한 달간 영동군 레인보우힐링관광지일원과 영동국악체험촌에서 열리며, 국내외 관람객 100만명이 엑스포장을 찾을 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
