【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=조병옥 음성군수는 18일 7번째 연두 순방 일정으로 생극면을 찾아 군민공감 토크콘서트를 진행하며 면민과의 대화의 시간을 가졌다.
생극면은 타지역에 비해 그동안 도로 여건이 좋지 못해 지금까지 발전이 더뎠지만, 생극산업단지가 조성되고 평택-제천 고속도로가 인접해 지나가며 37번 국도가 확장·개선돼 3번 국도와 연결되면서 접근성이 좋아졌다.
군은 생극면의 경쟁력 확보와 정주 여건 개선을 위해 △지역균형발전 전략사업(생극면 응천 공원 명소화 사업) △생극제2산업단지 조성 △소규모 생활체육공원 조성 △농업기반시설 개선사업 △농어촌취약지역생활여건개조사업 등을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
지역균형발전 전략사업으로 생극면 응천 공원 명소화사업을 추진한다. 금년내 실시설계용역을 완료하고 26년까지 군비 65억원을 투입해 생극면의 대표적인 주민 쉼터로 만들어 나간다.
공원 내에는 작가정원, 광장, 체육시설, 데크 등 다양한 주민편의시설이 설치될 예정이며 도시계획도로 개설을 동시에 추진해 이용자 접근성을 한층 더 개선한다.
생극제2산단은 25년 산업단지지정계획 승인예정으로 신양리 산35번지 일원에 40만㎡ 규모로 조성된다. 군은 금속가공제조업, 식료품제조업, 화물제품제조업 등 관련 우량기업을 유치해 고용창출과 더불어 지역균형발전에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
축구장, 풋살장, 족구장, 농구장 등을 갖춘 소규모 생활체육공원을 조성해 그동안 부족했던 체육 인프라를 보완한다. 또한 생극파크골프장 확충사업으로 18홀 파크골프장 및 부대시설도 조성할 방침이다.
농업기반시설도 개선해 나간다. 차평리·원당리 일원 생극지구 배수지구개선사업으로 용배수로 1.4km를 정비하고 신양도시침수 대응사업으로 관로1.1km를 설치하는 등 재해예방 및 영농 불편 해소에 다각적인 노력을 기울인다.
지난해 농림축산식품부 공모사업에 선정된 농어촌취약지역생활여건개조사업도 본격 추진한다. 빈집정비, 주민공동이용시설 리모델링, 슬레이트지붕개량 등의 종합 정비 사업으로 금년 상반기 기본계획 및 실시설계 용역에 착수할 예정으로 준공 시 차평1리 주민들의 생활 여건이 큰 폭으로 개선될 전망이다.
마을만들기 사업(생3리)으로 마을도로 확장, 생태마을 만들기를 추진해 지역경관 개선 등 쾌적한 정주 환경 개선도 지속 추진해 나간다.
또한 송곡-임곡(면도102호), 임곡-임곡(리도211호) 농어촌도로 확포장사업을 추진해 쾌적한 교통 환경을 조성해 나갈 방침이다.
