헌법재판소의 탄핵 심판이 지연되면서 이재명 더불어민주당 대표의 3월26일 선거법 판결이 오히려 먼저 나올 것이라는 전망이 유력해지고 있다. 이런 가운데 양 진영의 대치도 더욱 격화되고 있다.
이재명 대표는 어제, 살해 위협을 받고 있다며 방탄복을 입은 채 최상목 대행에게 암흑가에서나 사용될 법한 "몸조심 하라"는 막말을 던졌다가 뜻밖의 역풍을 맞았다. 그 결과, 이재명 대표가 모처럼 국민의 공감을 받을 수 있었던 이슈를 무심코 흘려보낸 것 같아 유감스럽다. 이는 좌·우 진영을 넘어 국민 모두가 공감할 만한 소재라고 생각한다.
