대전시립연정국악원이 오는 3월 26일 오전 11시, 2025년 기획 시리즈 K-브런치콘서트의 시작을 알리는 첫 공연 '우·아·한(우리의 아침을 여는 한국음악)'을 선보인다.
이번 공연은 대전국악방송과 공동 기획으로 마련된 무대로, 국악의 대중화와 생활 속 정착을 위해 다양한 시도와 협업을 이어가는 의미 있는 무대다.
특히 전통 국악을 클래식, 재즈 등 현대적인 장르와 결합해 새로운 감성의 한국 창작 음악을 선보인다는 점에서 기대를 모은다.
공연의 주인공은 양금 연주자이자 작곡가, 교육자인 윤은화. 전통 양금을 기반으로 현대적 감각을 입힌 그녀는 국악의 표현 영역을 넓혀가는 대표적인 아티스트다.
윤은화는 56현으로 개량한 현금을 통해 기존 국악기보다 넓은 음역대를 확보했으며, 국내 유일의 전자양금을 개발해 루핑과 이펙터 기술을 결합한 독창적 사운드를 창조해왔다.
공연은 윤은화의 음악 세계를 집약한 창작곡들로 구성됐다.
양금, 운라, 가야금, 우두 드럼이 어우러지는 ‘안개의 유희’를 시작으로, 긴장감 넘치는 선율의 ‘흔들리는 숲’, 전통곡 천년만세를 재해석한 ‘신천년만세’까지, 익숙하면서도 새롭게 다가오는 무대가 펼쳐진다.
특히 이번 공연에는 21C 한국음악프로젝트 금상 수상자이자 JTBC <풍류대장> TOP5에 오른 이창현(타악), 진미림(가야금)도 함께 무대에 올라 협업의 깊이를 더할 예정이다.
