이에 따라 서울시는 택시 업계·플랫폼사와 협업해 심야시간대 택시 1000대를 추가 공급한다는 계획이다. 택시업계와 강남·종로 등 심야 승차수요가 많은 4개 지역에 임시 택시승차대를 설치하고, 택시-승객을 일대일 매칭, 질서 있는 승차를 유도키로 했다.
개인택시업계는 택시 수요가 집중되는 목·금요일에 심야 운행을 독려하고, 법인택시 업계에서는 근무조 편성 시 야간 근무조에 우선 배치하는 등으로 심야 택시 공급에 적극 협조할 예정이다.
