브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 방송인 조세호 측이 조직폭력배 연루설을 부인하며 법적 대응을 예고했다.
조세호의 소속사 A2Z엔터테인먼트는 5일 공식입장을 내고 “제보자로 알려진 A씨는 자신이 운영하는 SNS 계정을 통해 최씨와 조세호의 친분을 언급하며 ’조세호가 최씨의 행위에 직접 혹은 간접적으로 연루돼 있다‘는 의혹을 제기하고 있다. 그러나 이는 A씨 개인의 추측에 불과하며 사실이 아님을 분명히 밝힌다”고 전했다.
이어 “이에 더해 A씨는 ‘조세호가 최씨로부터 금품이나 고가의 선물을 수수했다‘는 의혹을 제기하고 있다. 그러나 이 역시 A씨 개인의 추측 그 이상도 이하도 아니며, 사실과 무관함을 분명히 밝힌다”고 강조했다.
또 “A2Z엔터테인먼트는 A씨에 대해 소속 아티스트에 대한 허위사실적시명예훼손 및 업무방해 등 범죄행위에 관해 형사, 민사상 법적 대응을 적극 검토 중이다”고 밝혔다.
그러면서 “당사 소속 아티스트의 활동이 거짓주장의 무분별한 확산으로 인해 위축되지 않도록 근거 없는 비방, 악의적 게시물 작성, 허위사실과 루머에 대한 무분별한 유포 행위에 대해 무관용의 원칙에 의거해 엄중히 법적 대응할 예정이다”고 덧붙였다.
앞서 범죄 제보 유튜브 채널 운영자 A씨는 지난달 29일 SNS에 “지역 조직폭력배 두목 B씨가 실질적으로 소유한 프랜차이즈에 조세호가 자주 방문한다”며 “고가 선물을 받고 홍보를 해주는 게 아니냐”고 주장했다.
이와 함께 조세호가 B씨와 어깨동무를 하고 노래 부르는 모습, 조세호가 B씨의 프랜차이즈 매장이라는 곳에서 포즈를 취한 사진 등을 함께 공개했다. 더불어 A씨는 “B씨는 국내외 불법도박 사이트를 운영하며 자금을 세탁하는 인물이다. 국민 개그맨이 이런 관계를 유지해도 되냐”며 두 사람의 유착 관계에 대해 의혹을 제기했다.
한편, 지난해 10월 9세 연하의 비연예인과 결혼한 조세호는 현재 tvN ‘유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭’, KBS 2TV ’1박 2일’, 넷플릿스 예능 ‘도라이버’ 등 다양한 예능프로그램에 출연 중이다.
