가수 겸 JYP엔터테인먼트(이하 JYP) 대표 프로듀서 박진영은 고액의 수술비, 치료비로 어려움을 겪고 있는 국내외 취약계층 소아청소년을 위해 올해도 10억원을 쾌척했다.
박진영의 사재를 출연해 마련된 기금은 가천대 길병원, 건양대학교병원, 서울대학교 어린이병원에 각 2억, 월드비전에 4억 원이 전달돼 도움이 필요한 아동에게 쓰일 예정이다.
월드비전에 전달된 기부금은 멕시코, 브라질 지역의 해외 환아 치료비 지원과 더불어, 최근 홍수와 산사태로 심각한 피해를 입은 태국, 인도네시아, 스리랑카 등 아시아 지역의 피해 복구, 아동 지원에도 사용될 계획이다.
