이어 “이들은 시간이 지날수록 새로운 주장들을 추가하며 박나래와 당사를 계속해서 압박했고, 이에 따른 요구 금액 역시 점차 증가해 수억원 규모에 이르게 됐다. 박나래는 함께 일했던 직원들의 갑작스러운 퇴사와 이어지는 근거 없는 주장, 늘어나는 금품 요구, 언론을 통한 압박으로 인해 큰 심적 부담과 정신적 충격을 겪고 있다”고 말했다.
또 “당사와 박나래는 운영상 부족했던 부분을 인지하고 있으며, 잘못이 있는 부분에 대해서는 책임을 회피할 의도가 없다. 그러나 사실과 다른 주장들로 인해 불필요한 오해와 압박이 지속되는 상황에서 더는 일방적인 요구에 끌려다닐 수 없다고 판단했다. 이에 따라 법률 검토를 거쳐 필요한 법적 조치를 취하기로 결정했다”고 알렸다.
