브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 한국 축구 국가대표 주장 손흥민(33·LA FC)의 아이를 임신했다고 주장하며 금전을 요구한 일당이 1심에서 실형을 선고받았다.
서울중앙지법 형사20단독(판사 임정빈)은 8일 열린 선고 공판에서 공갈 및 공갈미수 혐의로 기소된 20대 여성 양모 씨에게 징역 4년을, 함께 기소된 40대 남성 용모 씨에게 징역 2년을 선고했다.
검찰은 지난달 27일 열린 결심 공판에서 양씨에게 징역 5년을, 용씨에게 징역 2년을 구형한 바 있다.
재판부는 “양씨는 임신 사실을 알게된 뒤 누구의 아이인지 확인한 바 없다”면서 “양씨는 태아가 손씨의 아이라고 생각했다고 했으나, 진술이 일관되지 않아 주장을 받아들이기 어렵다"고 밝혔습니다.
용씨에 대해서는 “단순 협박이나 금전 요구에 그치지 않고 손흥민이 유명인인 점을 이용해 언론이나 광고사 등에 (임신·임신중절 등) 알리는 등 실행 행위에 나아갔다”고 질책했다.
앞서 양씨는 지난해 6월 손흥민에게 아이를 임신한 사실을 폭로하겠다고 협박해 3억원을 갈취하고, 용씨와 함께 지난 3~5월 임신과 임신중절 사실을 언론과 가족 등에 폭로하겠다고 협박해 7천만원을 추가로 요구한 혐의를 받는다.
