이날 KBS 보도에 따르면, 서울 서대문경찰서는 지난 4일 의료법 위반 혐의로 싸이의 소속사와 차량을 압수수색했다. 경찰은 싸이의 휴대전화를 확보해 디지털 포렌식 작업을 하고, 비대면 및 대리 처방 관련 자료를 확보하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.
싸이는 2022년부터 지난 8월까지 서울의 한 대학병원 교수 A씨에게 대면 진료 없이 향정신성의약품을 처방받은 혐의를 받는다. 이 과정에서 처방약을 싸이의 매니저가 대리 수령한 사실이 드러났다.
