김정은은 이 두 가지 목적을 충분히 달성했던 것으로 보인다. 그래서였는지 북한 공군 창설 80주년 행사에 참석한 김주애의 모습은 한층 달라 보였다. 그의 행보는 매우 독자적이고 독립적인 측면이 강해 보였으며, 과거 김정은의 뒷꽁무니를 따라다니던 수행원의 모습과는 분명히 달라진 행보를 보였다.
