5일 김수현의 소속사 골드메달리스트는 공식입장을 내고 “김수현과 당사가 가로세로연구소 김세의를 상대로 제기한 여러 건의 고소·고발 사건에 대한 경찰 수사 결과를 알려드린다”며 운을 뗐다.
김수현 측에 따르면, 경찰 수사 결과 김세의는 정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률 위반(허위사실 적시에 의한 명예훼손), 스토킹범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법 위반, 성폭력범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법 위반(카메라 등을 이용한 촬영물 반포 등), 강요미수 및 협박 등의 혐의가 인정됐다. 경찰은 사안의 중대성을 고려해 김세의를 검찰에 구속 송치했다.
