배급사 플러스엠엔터테인먼트는 8일 보도자료를 통해 “매 작품 장르의 경계를 넘는 새로운 이야기에 도전을 거듭해온 나홍진 감독의 신작 <호프>가 오는 7월 15일 개봉을 확정 짓고 관객과 만난다”고 밝혔다.
황정민, 조인성, 정호연, 테일러 러셀, 카메론 브리튼, 알리시아 비칸데르, 마이클 패스벤더 등이 출연한 <호프>는 비무장지대에 위치한 호포항 출장소장 ‘범석’이 동네 청년들로부터 호랑이가 출현했다는 소식을 전해듣고, 온 마을이 비상이 걸린 가운데 믿기 어려운 현실을 만나며 시작되는 이야기를 그린 영화다.
