브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 그룹 애프터스쿨 출신 가수 겸 배우 나나(본명 임진아)의 집에 침입해 강도짓을 벌인 30대 남성에게 중형이 선고됐다.
9일 뉴시스 보도에 따르면, 이날 의정부지법 남양주지원 형사1부(부장판사 김국식)는 강도상해 혐의로 구속기소 된 피고인 A씨(34)에게 징역 7년을 선고했다.
재판부는 “피고인이 평온해야 할 야간에 흉기를 들고 가정집에 침입한 심각성을 고려하면 상응하는 처벌이 필요하다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “피해자들이 정신적·육체적 고통을 호소하며 처벌을 원하는 점, 다만 피고인의 범행이 미수에 그치고 소지한 흉기가 상해를 입힐 용도가 아니었던 것으로 보이는 점 등을 종합적으로 고려했다”며 양형 이유를 설명했다.
A씨 측은 재판 과정에서 흉기를 소지하지 않았고 강도 범행의 고의도 없었다고 주장했으나 법원은 이를 받아들이지 않았다.
앞서 A씨는 지난해 11월 15일 오전 5시 38분께 경기도 구리시에 위치한 나나의 자택에 흉기를 들고 침입, 나나 모녀를 위협하고 상해를 가하며 금품을 훔치려 한 혐의를 받는다.
검찰은 지난달 19일 열린 결심공판에서 A씨가 혐의를 부인하며 반성하고 있지 않은 점 등을 들어 징역 10년을 구형했다.

Previously, A was accused of breaking into Nana’s home in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, at around 5:38 a.m. on November 15 of last year, armed with a weapon, threatening Nana and her daughter, inflicting injuries, and attempting to steal valuables.
At the final hearing held on the 19th of last month, the prosecution requested a 10-year prison sentence, citing A’s denial of the charges and lack of remorse.
