[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 민선 9기 김해시장직 인수위원회가 점심시간까지 활용한 이른바 ‘김밥 업무보고’를 진행하며 시정 현안 파악에 속도를 내고 있다.
김해시장직 인수위원회는 17일 구지봉복원센터에서 민생복지분과와 환경도시계획분과 업무보고를 끝으로 사흘간 이어진 분과별 공식 업무보고를 마무리했다.
이날 정영두 김해시장 당선인과 허성곤 인수위원장, 인수위원, 자문위원, 시 관계자들은 회의장 내에서 배달된 김밥으로 점심을 대신하며 업무보고를 이어갔다.
인수위는 제한된 기간 내 시정 현안을 면밀히 파악하고 정책 검토에 집중하기 위해 회의 시간을 최대한 활용한 것으로 알려졌다.
인수위는 오는 18일 19개 읍·면·동장을 대상으로 업무보고를 실시해 지역별 현안과 주민 숙원사업을 점검할 예정이다. 이를 통해 지역 주민들이 체감할 수 있는 사업과 정책 수요를 파악해 향후 시정 운영에 반영한다는 계획이다.
정영두 당선인은 “‘사람 사는 세상, 함께 잘 사는 김해’라는 선거 구호처럼 시민들이 바라고 원하는 사업을 우선 추진하겠다”며 “변화하는 환경에 신속하게 대응하는 정책 수립과 시정 운영으로 김해 발전에 속도를 내겠다”고 말했다.
한편 인수위원회는 시민 체감형 정책 발굴을 위해 오는 25일 오후 2시 김해 동상동 다어울림센터에서 ‘시장 당선인과 함께하는 시민과의 만남’을 열고 시민들의 다양한 의견을 직접 청취할 예정이다.
