[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 국내 최장수 음악 축제인 '2026 부산국제록페스티벌'이 화려한 1차 라인업을 공개하며 본격적인 축제의 서막을 알렸다.
오는 10월 삼락생태공원에서 개최되는 이번 축제는 빌보드 1위 밴드부터 대한민국 록의 전설까지 총출동해 글로벌 음악 팬들의 기대를 모으고 있다.
부산시는 오는 10월 2일부터 4일까지 사흘간 사상구 삼락생태공원에서 열리는 '2026 부산국제록페스티벌'의 1차 출연진 23개 팀을 확정해 발표했다. 올해로 27주년을 맞이한 부산국제록페스티벌은 문화체육관광부가 선정한 예비 글로벌 축제로서 한층 더 강력해진 라인업을 선보인다.
공개된 1차 라인업에는 미국의 세계적인 헤비메탈 밴드 '어벤지드 세븐폴드'와 한국 록의 살아있는 전설 '송골매'가 이름을 올렸다.
또한 첫 내한 무대를 갖는 일본의 인기 록밴드 '크리프하이프', 재결성으로 화제를 모은 '서치모스', 일본 슈게이즈의 대표 주자 '양문학' 등이 참여한다. 이 외에도 글로벌 밴드 '씨엔블루', 호주의 인디록 밴드 '스페이시 제인'을 비롯해 부산 지역을 기반으로 활동하는 '밴드기린'과 '해서웨이' 등 국내외 실력파 아티스트들이 대거 합류했다.
본 행사에 앞서 분위기를 고조시키는 사전 행사인 '로드 투 부락'도 국내외 주요 도시에서 성황리에 진행 중이다. 지난 5월 부산과 대만 타이중, 6월 서울 행사를 성공적으로 마쳤으며, 향후 광주, 제주, 울산을 거쳐 일본 후쿠오카까지 여정을 이어가며 지역 간 문화 교류를 확대하고 축제의 매력을 전파할 예정이다.
올해 부산국제록페스티벌은 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에도 박차를 가한다. 문화체육관광부의 글로벌 축제 육성 사업 공모 선정에 발맞추어 해외 현지 홍보와 마케팅을 대폭 강화하고, 외국인 관람객을 위한 글로벌 관광 상품 개발 및 행사장 내 다국어 서비스 안내를 확대할 계획이다.
축제를 합리적인 가격으로 즐길 수 있는 얼리버드 티켓은 예스24 티켓을 통해 판매를 시작했다. 이번 얼리버드 티켓은 3일권 한정으로 정가 대비 20퍼센트 할인된 21만 2천8백 원에 구매할 수 있다.
시는 타지역 관람객들의 이동 편의를 높이기 위해 카카오티 애플리케이션을 통해 입장권과 셔틀버스를 연계한 결합 패키지 상품도 함께 제공하고 있다.
지난해 음악 축제 중 국내 최다 관람객을 기록한 만큼 시는 올해도 차별화된 프로그램과 안전하고 쾌적한 관람 환경을 구축하는 데 행정력을 집중할 방침이다. 축제와 관련된 상세한 일정과 세부 프로그램 정보는 공식 누리집을 통해 지속적으로 업데이트될 예정이다.

The '2026 Busan International Rock Festival', South Korea's longest-running music festival, has officially kicked off its preparations by unveiling a stellar first lineup. Scheduled to take place this October at Samrak Ecological Park, the festival is already generating massive excitement among global music fans with a roster that spans from Billboard-topping bands to living legends of Korean rock.
Busan Metropolitan City announced the confirmation of the first 23 acts for the '2026 Busan International Rock Festival', which will run for three days from October 2 to 4 at Samrak Ecological Park in Sasang-gu. Celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, the festival is showcasing an even more powerful lineup, befitting its status as a Preliminary Global Festival selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The first lineup features Avenged Sevenfold, a definitive American heavy metal band with a Billboard No. 1 album, alongside Songolmae, a living legend of Korean rock music. The roster also includes popular Japanese rock band CreepHyp, making their first-ever appearance before a South Korean audience, Suchmos, who have garnered intense interest from Asian music fans following their reunion, and Hitsujibungaku, a leading band in the Japanese shoegaze scene. They are joined by CNBLUE, a global band beloved across Asia, Spacey Jane, a next-generation indie rock band representing Australia, and local Busan-based acts Band Girin and Hathaway, promising a diverse array of domestic and international performances.
In addition, 'Road to BU-ROCK', a pre-event designed to build anticipation for the festival, is currently underway in various major cities both at home and abroad. Following successful events in Busan and Taichung, Taiwan in May, and Seoul in June, the roadshow has effectively showcased the festival's charm to audiences. It will continue its journey through Gwangju, Jeju, and Ulsan before heading to Fukuoka, Japan, aimed at expanding regional cultural exchange and widely promoting the festival.
This year, the Busan International Rock Festival is also accelerating its efforts to enhance global competitiveness. In line with its selection for the global festival development project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival plans to significantly strengthen overseas local PR and marketing, develop global tourism packages, and expand multilingual services on-site to attract more international visitors.
To allow fans to enjoy the festival at a more reasonable price, early bird tickets have gone on sale through YES24 Ticket.
