포천시는 오는 7월 3일 국내 최대 규모의 나이트 워크형 미디어아트 파크 ‘테라 판타지아(TERRA FANTASIA)’가 전 구간 개장하며 본격적인 야간관광 시대의 서막을 올린다고 19일 밝혔다.
‘깨어나는 빛의 땅’을 주제로 기획된 ‘테라 판타지아’는 한탄강 하늘다리부터 마당교, 생태경관단지, Y형 출렁다리, 비둘기낭 폭포 일원까지 이어지는 약 2.3km 구간을 빛의 여정으로 연결한 매머드급 관광 콘텐츠다. 유네스코 세계지질공원인 한탄강의 현무암 협곡과 주상절리, 용암대지 등 압도적인 대자연을 무대로 빛과 영상, 음악이 어우러진 색다른 야간경관을 선사한다.

관람객들은 마치 판타지 세계를 탐험하듯 공간을 이동하게 된다. 불, 물, 숲, 돌 등 자연과 생태를 상징하는 정령 캐릭터들의 안내를 받으며 용암 분출부터 현재에 이르는 한탄강의 진화 과정을 생생한 미디어 콘텐츠로 체험할 수 있다.
하늘다리 광장의 사전 쇼를 시작으로 숲속 데크길에서는 양방향(인터랙티브) 콘텐츠가, 생태경관단지에서는 대형 풍선 라이트쇼와 오로라 레이저쇼가 화려하게 펼쳐진다. 특히 거대한 현무암 주상절리 절벽을 도화지 삼아 연출되는 초대형 미디어파사드 쇼 '빛의 화산'은 이번 테라 판타지아의 백미로 꼽힌다.
