[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 여름철 무더위를 피해 반려인들이 보다 쾌적하게 시설을 이용할 수 있도록 오는 7월 7일부터 9월 30일까지 김해댕댕파크 운영시간을 오후 9시까지 연장한다.
기존 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 운영하던 이용시간을 하절기 동안 4시간 늘려 야간에도 이용할 수 있도록 했다. 다만 매주 월요일과 우천 시에는 운영하지 않는다.
시는 야간 운영에 맞춰 조명과 CCTV 등 안전시설을 점검·보강하고, 야간 전담 기간제 근로자 2명을 추가 배치해 순찰과 현장 관리를 강화할 계획이다. 안내방송과 이용객 모니터링도 병행해 안전사고 예방에 나선다.
이번 조치는 여름철 낮 시간대 폭염으로 반려견과 이용객의 야외활동이 어렵다는 민원을 반영한 것으로, 시민 편의 향상과 반려동물 친화도시 조성을 위한 조치다.
김해시 관계자는 "시민들이 무더위를 피해 반려견과 안전하고 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있도록 운영에 만전을 기하겠다"며 "건전한 반려문화 확산을 위한 지원도 지속해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
