【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 본격적인 무더위철을 맞아 군민들이 시원하고 안전하게 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 오는 11일부터 금왕 물놀이장과 대소 물놀이장을 동시에 개장한다.
금왕생활체육공원 내에 위치한 금왕물놀이장은 2,800㎡ 규모로 조합놀이대 2대와 수영조 2개소, 샤워실, 그늘막 등의 편의시설을 갖추고 있다. 대소생활체육공원에 조성된 대소물놀이장은 400㎡ 규모로 조합놀이대 1대와 수영조 1개소, 탈의실 등을 마련해 주민들을 맞이한다.
두 곳의 물놀이장은 모두 무료로 이용할 수 있으며 운영 시간은 하루 2부제로 나뉜다. 1부는 오전 10시부터 오전 11시 45분까지이며, 오후 12시 30분부터 오후 5시 15분까지 2부가 운영된다. 오전 11시 45분부터 오후 12시 30분까지는 시설 정비를 위한 휴식 시간이다.
올해 물놀이장 운영 기간은 다음 달 23일까지다. 다만 시설물 점검을 위해 매주 월요일은 문을 닫으며, 비가 많이 내리는 폭우 시에도 안전을 위해 휴장한다.
음성군은 개장 기간 동안 안전요원을 상시 배치하고 시설물 사전 점검을 강화할 방침이다. 특히 이용객의 건강과 직결되는 수질 및 위생 관리에 철저를 기해 군민들이 안심하고 찾을 수 있는 환경을 만들 계획이다.
군 관계자는 주민들이 도심 속 물놀이장에서 시원한 추억을 만들 수 있도록 지원하겠다며 온 가족이 깨끗하고 안전하게 시설을 이용할 수 있도록 관리에 최선을 다하겠다고 전했다.
