한중교류촉진위원회(위원장 이창호)와 서영교 국회의원실은 7월 10일(금) 오후 2시 국회의원회관 제2세미나실에서 '한중수교 34주년 기념포럼'을 공동 개최한다.
이번 포럼은 한중수교 34주년을 맞아 급변하는 국제정세 속에서 양국 간 전략적 협력 방향을 모색하고, 동북아 평화와 공동번영을 위한 실질적인 협력 방안을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히 정치·경제·문화·학술·민간교류 등 다양한 분야의 전문가들이 참석해 미래지향적인 한중관계 발전 방안을 심도 있게 제시할 예정이다.
이번 행사는 주한중국대사관의 후원으로 진행되며, 국회의원과 국내외 학계, 외교·언론계, 경제계, 문화예술계 인사 등 각계 주요 인사들이 참석해 한중 협력의 새로운 비전을 공유한다.
기조발표와 주제발표에서는 '동북아 평화질서와 한·중 협력의 전략적 역할'을 중심으로 국제질서 변화 속 한중관계의 발전 방향, 경제협력 확대, 문화·인적교류 활성화, 청년세대 교류 확대 등 다양한 의제가 논의된다.
또한 민간외교의 중요성과 양국 국민 간 신뢰 회복을 위한 협력 방안도 함께 제시될 예정이다.
공동주최자인 서영교 국회의원은 "한중 양국은 동북아 평화와 경제협력의 핵심 동반자"라며 "이번 포럼이 미래지향적 협력 기반을 더욱 공고히 하는 의미 있는 자리가 되기를 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
이창호 한중교류촉진위원회 위원장은 "지난 34년간 한중 양국은 경제와 문화, 교육, 인적교류를 통해 함께 성장해 왔다"며 "앞으로는 상호 존중과 신뢰를 바탕으로 실질적인 협력을 확대하고 민간외교를 더욱 활성화해야 한다"고 강조했다.
이어 "이번 포럼이 한중 우호협력의 새로운 전기를 마련하고 동북아 평화와 공동번영에 기여하는 소중한 계기가 되기를 기대한다"고 말했다.

This event is being held under the sponsorship of the Chinese Embassy in Korea, and key figures from various sectors—including National Assembly members, domestic and international academia, diplomacy, the media, the business world, and the arts and culture sectors—will participate to share a new vision for Korea-China cooperation. In the keynote and thematic presentations, various agendas will be discussed centered on the "Strategic Role of Korea-China Cooperation and the Peace Order in Northeast Asia." These include the direction of development for Korea-China relations amidst changes in the international order, the expansion of economic cooperation, the revitalization of cultural and people-to-people exchanges, and the expansion of exchanges among the youth generation.
