청와대가 13일 "이재명 대통령이 14일 청와대에서 찰스 3세 영국 국왕 여동생 앤 공주 부부를 접견한다"고 전했다.
청와대는 이날 오전 언론 공지에서 "앤 공주 부부를 청와대서 접견해 한·영 간 우호 협력 증진 방안에 대해 논의 예정”이라고 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 “글로벌 전략 동반자 한·영 간 고위급 교류·교역 및 투자·과학기술·문화 등 분야에서 협력 강화 방안 및 주요 지역 정세 논의가 이뤄질 걸로 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.
앤 공주는 남편 팀 로런스 경과 13일부터 2박 3일간 한국에 머무르는 가운데 지난 2018 평창 동계올림픽 당시 IOC(국제올림픽위원회) 위원 자격으로 방한 후 8년 만이다.
