이재명 대통령이 13일 "대규모 (반도체) 추가 세수를 미래 대응 전략 투자 재원으로 활용하고, 미래 대응 기금을 신설해 미래·청년·지방·교육 등 국가 미래를 좌우할 분야에 집중 투자하겠다"고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대에서 열린 '2026 국가재정전략회의' 모두 발언에서 "AI(인공지능) 혁명이 촉발한 반도체 대호황에 힘입어 전례없는 추가 세수가 발생될 걸로 예측된다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "4대 분야에 집중 투자하고 경제 성장 잠재력을 높여 그 과실을 모든 국민께 돌려드리겠다"며 "과감하고 지속적 미래 투자를 담보하는 전략 투자 플랫폼이 필요하며 미래 대응 기금은 이 기능을 수행케 될 것"이라고 했다.
또 "3대 메가 프로젝트를 경제 새 기회로 만들어내겠다"며 "반도체·피지컬 AI·AI 데이터센터 투자가 기업 시간표대로 제대로 이뤄질 수 있도록 정부 역량을 총동원 집중 지원하겠다"고 했다.
이어 "필수 자원 전력·용수 안정 공급은 기본"이라며 "교통·물류 인프라 확충과 주거·교육·의료·문화 등 정주 여건 구축·혁신 기반까지 갖춰 대한민국에 새 성장 거점들을 만들어낼 것"이라고 주장했다.
더불어 "모두의 성장으로 그 누구도 소외되지 않는 대한민국을 만들겠다"며 "사회에 첫발 내딛는 청년들에 일자리·주거·자산 형성까지 생애주기 전반을 아우르는 지원 체계를 마련할 것"이라고 덧붙였다.
