He continued by pointing out, “President Lee called the court’s refusal to accept Google Timeline as evidence of innocence bizarre, but Google Timeline is merely supplementary data for estimating location, and the possibility of error exists.” He further criticized, “In the actual case of former Vice President Kim, there were discrepancies with objective data such as credit card payment records and vehicle entry/exit records, and circumstances were even confirmed that the Timeline records were modified.” He added, “For the President to pressure the judiciary by insisting that such loose records are evidence of innocence is propaganda that distorts the facts and a dictatorial act that directly denies the separation of powers.” He added, “It is a blatant attempt to pressure the court for an acquittal while sending a message to the Democratic Party to elect Kim Yong as a Supreme Council member.”
