▲광주권은 반도체와 AI 중심의 ‘미래 첨단산업 성장축’으로 삼아 원천기술과 연구 기반을 고도화하고, ▲전남 동부권은 기존 석유화학·철강 산업에 수소·이차전지 등 친환경 에너지 신산업을 더한 ‘글로벌 제조·혁신축’으로 대전환하며, ▲전남 서부권은 구 전남도청사 및 행정 기능을 온전히 보존해 ‘통합특별시의 행정 중심축’으로서의 위상을 확고히 하는 동시에 해상풍력 벨트, 친환경 첨단 조선, 해양관광 융복합 산업을 집중 배치해야 한다는 구상이다.
