북부지방산림청은 20일 산사태대책상황실에서 송준호 청장 주재로 ‘호우 대비 산사태 피해 예방 대책회의’를 열고 대응 상황을 집중 점검했다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의에서는 지난 18일부터 이어진 호우에 따른 각 소속 기관별 산사태 예방 및 대응 실태를 면밀히 살피고 향후 대책을 논의했다. 특히 추가적인 집중호우에 대비해 산사태 취약지역과 임도, 사방(재해복구) 사업지 등 재해 발생 우려가 높은 지역의 예찰을 대폭 강화할 것을 주문했다. 또한 위험 징후가 발견될 경우 즉각적인 출입 통제와 주민 대피 지원 등 선제적인 안전 조치를 단행하도록 지시했다.

이와 함께 산사태 예측 정보와 기상 상황을 실시간으로 확인하고, 지자체를 비롯해 소방, 경찰 등 유관 기관과의 확고한 비상 연락 체계를 유지해 재난 발생 시 신속한 초기 대응이 이뤄질 수 있도록 상황 관리에 만전을 기할 것을 당부했다.
