정희용 사무총장(당내 질서·선관위 의혹·정교유착 수사 촉구)
먼저, 정희용 사무총장은 상임위원회 배정 불만으로 발생한 당내 물리적 충돌 사태에 대해 사과하며 말문을 열었다. 정 사무총장은 “항의와 물리적 행위는 분명히 구분돼야 하며 폭력은 결코 정당화될 수 없다”며, “당원과 국민 여러분께 실망을 안겨드려 진심으로 송구하고 이번 사태를 엄중하게 받아들이겠다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “당의 명예와 품위를 훼손하는 행위에 대해서는 엄정하고 단호하게 대처하겠다”며, “지금 우리 당에는 원내대표의 리더십이 어느 때보다 절실한 만큼 흔들림 없이 대여 공세를 이끌어주기를 바란다”고 당부했다.
이어 정 사무총장은 선관위의 투표율 허위 입력 및 통계 조작 정황 의혹을 강력히 비판했다. 그는 “선관위 실무자들이 오입력을 은폐하기 위해 투표자 수를 임의로 고치고 허위 입력 전 숫자를 맞추자는 취지의 대화를 나눈 것은 공모의 정황으로 볼 수밖에 없다”며, “국정조사를 서둘러 끝낼 것이 아니라 기한을 연장해 특검과 병행해야 한다”고 지적했다. 그러면서 “특검을 한시라도 빨리 출범시켜 투표용지 부족 사태는 물론 통계조작 의혹을 포함한 모든 의혹의 진실을 철저히 규명해야 한다”고 주장했다.
아울러 김민석 전 총리가 제기한 신천지의 민주당 전당대회 개입 의혹에 대해서도 언급했다. 정 사무총장은 “이재명 대통령이 올 1월 정교유착 의혹에 대해 나라가 망하는 길이라며 뿌리를 뽑아야 한다고 강조했던 만큼, 신천지의 민주당 개입 의혹 역시 같은 기준과 원칙으로 규명해야 한다”며, “합동수사본부에 즉각적이고 엄정한 수사를 지시해 법 앞에 예외가 없다는 원칙을 분명히 보여주기 바란다”고 목소리를 높였다
김승수 원내운영수석부대표(선관위 종합특검·공공기관 이전 개입 비판)

또한 오는 9월 발표 예정인 2차 공공기관 이전 계획과 관련해 “공식 발표 전부터 특정 지역에 특정 기관 이전이 결정된 것처럼 거론되는 것은 민주당 전당대회를 앞둔 당리당략적 정치 카드가 아니냐는 의구심을 부른다”며, “공공기관 이전은 국가균형발전이라는 대원칙 아래 객관적이고 투명하게 추진돼야 한다”고 강조했다. 그러면서 “민주당 전당대회용 선물로 이전을 강행할 경우 자치단체와 해당 기관의 거센 반발은 물론 국가경쟁력 저하를 초래할 것이며 그 책임은 정부와 여당에 있다”고 경고했다.
김미애 원내정책수석부대표(부동산 토론회·보완수사권 폐지·낙태약 허용 비판)

이어 “외교관 정보에 이어 군 장병 의료 정보까지 노출되는 상황에서도 정부는 7월 31일부로 방첩사령부를 해체하려 한다”고 비판하며, “정부는 사건의 전모를 투명하게 밝히고 책임 소재를 명확히 하는 한편, 국방 사이버 보안 체계를 전면 재점검하고 근본적인 재발 방지 대책을 마련하라”고 주문했다.
김민전 원내부대표(선거 제도 개혁 및 당일투표·수개표 도입 제안)
김민전 원내부대표는 투개표 과정에서 누적돼 온 각종 의혹을 열거하며 당일투표 및 수개표 제도로의 전환을 제안했다. 김 원내부대표는 “봉인지 부실, 이상 인쇄 투표지, 특정 지역의 투표율 변동 및 투표자 수 감소 현상 등 2020년 총선 이후 투개표와 관련해 지속적인 의문이 제기돼 왔다”며, “선관위가 누구나 투표자 수를 투명하게 알 수 있는 장치를 마련하지 않아 사회적 갈등이 증폭됐다”고 진단했다.
그러면서 “전 세계적으로 부정투표와 전산망 해킹 의혹이 이어지고 있지만, 당일투표 후 그 자리에서 수개표를 진행하는 대만이나 프랑스 같은 나라들은 정치적 시비가 없다”며, “더 이상 투개표와 관련된 혼란을 방지하기 위해 당일투표·수개표 제도로 전환해야 한다”고 전했다.
유용원 원내부대표(한미 원자력 협정 개정 및 국가사이버안보법 통과 촉구)

아울러 사이버 해킹 문제와 관련해서도 “국가 안보 핵심 기관들의 개인정보 유출 참사가 반복되는 동안 범정부 컨트롤타워를 구축하는 ‘국가사이버안보법’이 1년 넘게 국회 상임위 소위에 계류되어 있다”고 꼬집으며, “여야가 정파를 넘어 상임위에 계류 중인 법안을 조속히 심사하고 통과시켜야 한다”고 강조했다.
