담양군은 지난 11일 박종원 군수와 제4기 담양군 청년정책협의체 위원들이 참석한 가운데 청년정책 소통 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 간담회는 청년들이 자유롭고 편안한 분위기속에서 의견을 개진할 수 있도록 기존 청사 회의실을 벗어나 외부 공간에서 진행됐다. 박 군수와 참석자들은 격의 없는 대화를 통해 지역 생활에서의 애로사항과 실제 필요한 정책 대안에 대해 깊이 있는 의견을 나눴다.
간담회에 참석한 제4기 청년정책협의체 위원들은 청년들의 정주 여건 개선을 비롯해 일자리 지원, 주거 안정, 문화 및 복지 혜택 등 다양한 분야에 걸친 현장의 목소리와 정책 수요를 전달했다.
이어 진행된 질의응답 시간에서는 현재 군에서 추진 중인 주요 청년정책에 대한 궁금증을 해소하고, 향후 발전적인 개선 방향에 대해 다각도로 논의가 이뤄졌다.
박종원 담양군수는 “청년들이 지역에 안착해 안정적으로 생활하며 자신의 꿈과 역량을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”라며 “오늘 전달받은 현장의 생생한 목소리를 세심하게 살펴 청년들이 피부로 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 정책으로 이어지도록 지속적으로 소통하겠다”라고 강조했다.
