전남광주특별시교육청, ‘지역학부모회연합회 임원 역량강화 연찬회’ 개최

(브레이크뉴스 전남광주) 이학수 기자= 전남광주통합특별시교육청이 학부모의 학교교육 참여를 활성화하고 지역 간 소통을 강화하기 위한 자리를 마련했다.

전남광주교육청은 지난 14일 장흥군민회관에서 ‘지역학부모회연합회 임원 역량강화 연찬회’를 열고, 교육 현장의 다양한 의견을 나누는 소통의 장을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

지역학부모회연합회 임원 150여 명이 참석한 이날 연찬회는 ▲지역학부모회연합회 우수 활동사례 공유 ▲학부모-교육감 소통의 시간 ▲세종시 소담초등학교 학부모 활동사례 발표 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 진행됐다.

특히 김대중 교육감이 직접 참석한 ‘소통의 시간’에서는 학교 현장의 생생한 목소리를 청취하고, 학부모회 활성화 방안과 향후 교육정책 방향에 대해 자유롭게 의견을 교환하는 시간을 가졌다.

전남광주교육청은 전남·광주 교육 통합 흐름에 발맞춰 내년부터는 광주 지역 학부모들도 지역학부모회연합회에 함께 참여할 수 있도록 추진한다. 이를 통해 두 지역 학부모가 긴밀히 소통하고 협력하는 기반을 공고히 다질 방침이다.

이은순 전남학부모연합회장은 “전남·광주 교육이 통합으로 큰 변화를 맞고 있는 만큼 학부모 간 소통과 협력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “지역의 다양한 교육 현안과 우수사례를 공유하고, 학부모의 의견이 정책에 실질적으로 반영될 수 있도록 연합회가 가교 역할을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
