청와대가 18일 "이재명 대통령이 오는 19~20일 방힌하는 왕이 중국공산당 중앙정치국 위원 겸 외교부장을 20일 접견한다"고 전했다.
청와대는 이날 오후 언론 공지에서 이같이 전한 후 "이 대통령은 한·중관계 발전 방향·역내 정세 등을 평가하면서 시진핑 중국 국가 주석에 안부를 전할 예정"이라고 했다.
또 "20일 위성락 국가안보실장과 왕 부장 간 회담·오찬도 진행 예정"이라며 "이 자리에서 한·중관계·한반도 정세를 비롯 지역국제 문제 등 상호 관심사 관련 의견 교환이 이뤄질 예정"이라고 덧붙였다.
앞서 왕 부장은 19일 조현 외교부 장관과 회담·만찬을 갖는 가운데 이번 방한은 지난 2021년 9월 이후 약 5년 만이다.
