충북도, 첨단전략산업 육성 전문가 토론회 개최

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 첨단전략산업(반도체, 이차전지) 육성을 위한 국회토론회가 7일 오전 10시 30분 국회의원회관 제2소회의실에서 충북 지역구 국회의원, 산학연 전문가 등 200여명이 참석한 가운데 성황리에 개최됐다.

 

이날 국회토론회는 충청북도와 충청북도 지역구 국회의원인 도종환, 박덕흠, 변재일, 엄태영, 이장섭, 이종배, 임호선, 정우택(가나다 순) 국회의원이 공동주최하고 이장섭 의원이 주관한 가운데,

 

국민의힘 반도체 산업 경쟁력 강화 특별위원회 위원장인 양향자 의원이 참석하여 충북 첨단전략산업 육성 방안에 대한 각별한 관심을 나타냈다.

 

이날 행사는 충북의 주력산업이자 첨단전략산업인 충북 반도체, 이차전지 육성전략에 대한 주제발표를 시작으로 전문가 토론회 순으로 진행됐다.

 

 

주제발표에서는 충북 반도체, 이차전지 산업의 강점과 대한민국 첨단전략산업 초격차 실현을 위한 충북 첨단전략산업 특화단지 운영 방안을 전략적으로 제시하여 참석자들의 많은 공감을 얻었다.

 

특히, 이규복 한국전자기술연구원 부원장을 좌장으로 하는 전문가 토론은 이일우 청주 SK하이닉스 부사장, 임영목 산업통상자원부 R&D전략기획단 MD, 김형준 차세대지능형반도체사업단 단장, 이주현 한국산업기술진흥원 본부장, 김남호 LG에너지솔루션 상무, 정순남 한국전지산업협회 부회장 등이 토론자로 참가해,

 

분야별로 첨단전략산업 육성 방안과 향후 충북의 첨단전략산업 육성 정책 방향에 대한 다양한 의견을 제시했다.

 

대한민국 첨단전략산업 초격차 실현을 위한 중부권 거점 도약을 위하여 특화단지 유치에 적극 나서고 있는 충청북도는 토론회를 계기로 전문가들의 제언을 수렴하여 첨단전략산업 육성에 앞장서겠다고 밝혔다.

김영환 도지사는“충북도는 반도체와 이차전지 산업을 전략적으로 육성해 온 결과 반도체 생산액 전국 2위, 이차전지 생산액 전국 1위 등 성장잠재력이 매우 풍부한 지역”이라며,

 

“첨단전략산업 초격차 실현을 위한 최적지인 충북이 첨단전략산업 특화단지를 유치하여 더 많은 기업들의 투자가 이루어지고 국제 경쟁력을 갖추게 하는 일이 제 역할이다”라고 말했다.

 

이어 “자신 있게 세계로 뻗어갈 수 있는 충청북도의 첨단산업 육성을 위한 첨단전략산업 특화단지를 유치할 수 있도록 많은 지원을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

 

또한 김 지사는 첨단전략산업 육성을 위해 기업의 밸류체인 확보로 기업하기 유리한 환경 조성, 교육을 변화시켜 지역 대학과 우수 인재를 공급할 수 있는 인프라 구축, 지역 문화 예술 역량 강화로 기업인들의 정주여건 강화, 청주공항 활성화를 통한 항공 물류의 길 개척 등을 약속했다.

Chungcheongbuk-do, which is actively seeking to attract specialized complexes to become a base in the central region to realize the super-gap in Korea's high-tech strategic industries, announced that it would take the lead in fostering high-tech strategic industries by collecting experts' suggestions through the forum.

Governor Kim Yeong-hwan said, "As a result of strategically nurturing the semiconductor and secondary battery industries, Chungcheongbuk-do is an area rich in growth potential, ranking second in semiconductor production and first in secondary battery production nationwide."

 

“My role is to make Chungbuk, the best place for the realization of the super-gap in high-tech strategic industries, to attract more companies’ investment and international competitiveness by attracting specialized complexes for high-tech strategic industries,” he said.

 

“I would like to ask for your support so that we can attract a high-tech strategic industrial complex to foster high-tech industries in Chungcheongbuk-do, which can confidently expand to the world,” he said.
