【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)가 지역 청년들을 위한 소개팅 프로그램 '고고(만나go, 결혼하go)미팅'을 통해 3쌍의 커플이 탄생했다고 19일 밝혔다.
지난 14일 관내 한 카페에서 열린 고고미팅에는 미혼 남녀 12명이 참여해 총 3쌍의 커플이 성사되는 성과를 거뒀다.
달서구가 운영하는 고고미팅은 바쁜 일상에 쫓겨 새로운 만남의 기회를 갖기 어려운 청년들을 위한 소규모 만남 프로그램이다. 소수 정예로 진행해 참가자들이 부담 없이 자연스럽게 교류할 수 있는 것이 특징이다.
이날 행사는 전문 사회자가 진행을 맡아 참가자들의 긴장을 풀어주는 아이스브레이킹 게임으로 시작됐다.
이어 1대1 로테이션 미팅을 통해 모든 참가자들이 서로 대화할 수 있는 시간을 가지며 자연스럽게 친밀감을 형성해 나갔다.
달서구의 이 같은 노력은 상당한 결실을 맺고 있다. 2017년부터 시작된 고고미팅은 지금까지 총 99쌍의 커플을 탄생시키는 성과를 올렸다.
100쌍 달성을 코앞에 두고 있어 앞으로 더욱 많은 청년들에게 희망적인 만남의 기회를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 "고고미팅이 청년들에게 설레는 만남의 기회를 제공하고 건강한 결혼문화를 확산하는 계기가 되기를 바란다"며 "앞으로도 청년층이 실제로 체감할 수 있는 다양하고 실질적인 결혼지원 정책을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다"고 덧붙였다.
