<브레이크뉴스 횡성 = 김일웅 기자> 횡성군 둔내면이 지역사회의 든든한 울타리 안에서 아동과 청소년들이 함께 교감하며 성장할 수 있는 특별한 멘토링 사업의 닻을 올렸다.

둔내면지역사회보장협의체는 지난 16일 국립횡성숲체원에서 둔내삼육지역아동센터, 현천고등학교 등 민·관·학 3개 기관과 협력해 ‘2026년도 아동·청소년 멘토·멘티 특화사업’을 본격 추진한다고 17일 밝혔다.
공적 지원이 필요한 지역 아동·청소년을 대상으로 한 이번 사업은 숲체원 미션 해결 프로그램 등 자연 속 소통을 중심으로 오는 10월까지 매월 1회 진행된다. 특히 7월에는 현천고 학생들과 함께하는 동물원 현장 체험학습이 예정되어 있다.

또한, 현천고 학생(멘토)과 지역아동센터 아동(멘티)이 짝을 이루는 ‘오감만족 교차 멘토링’도 병행된다. 이들은 제빵 실습과 리코더 합주 연습 등을 통해 유대감을 쌓고, 오는 10월에는 그간의 성과를 나누는 ‘카페 & 작은 음악회’를 개최해 대미를 장식할 계획이다.
