(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 17일 대만 신베이시의 교육정책을 총괄하는 신베이시교육국(NTPC) 방문단과 학교급식 및 AI(인공지능) 기반 미래교육 정책을 공유하고 상호 협력 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 방문은 양 기관의 우수한 초·중등 AI 교육 추진 사례와 학교급식 정책을 공유해 상호 교육정책에 대한 이해를 넓히기 위해 마련했다.
이날 방문에는 장밍원(CHANG, MING-WEN) 교육국장을 비롯한 신베이시교육국 관계자와 현직 학교장, 신베이시의회 의원, 학교급식 산업협회 관계자 등이 참석했다.
이 자리에서 인천시교육청은 급식 영양 및 위생 관리, 학부모와의 소통 시스템 등 학생의 건강한 성장을 지원하는 학교급식 정책을 소개했다.
이어 ‘AI를 배우는 교육–AI로 배우는 교육–AI와 성장하는 교육’이 균형 있게 이루어지는 인천 AI교육을 소개했다.
특히, 학생 성장 단계별 읽걷쓰AI 교육 로드맵, 읽걷쓰AI 활용 가이드라인, 교사 역량 기반 연수, AI 정책학교 운영 등 구체적인 현장 적용 사례에 큰 관심을 보였다.
무엇보다 ‘사람이 먼저 생각하고 AI를 활용한 뒤 다시 사람이 검증·완성’하는 읽걷쓰AI의 ‘H-A-H(Human-AI-Human)’ 교육 원리와 이를 현장에 접목한 정책 방향에 깊은 공감했다.
도성훈 교육감은 “학교급식은 학생의 건강한 성장을 돕는 핵심 교육활동이며, AI 시대에는 질문하고 스스로 생각하며 책임 있게 행동하는 힘을 기르는 교육이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 만남이 양 기관의 교육 경험과 우수사례를 나누는 뜻깊은 결실로 이어지길 기대한다”고 말했다.
