(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 오는 7월 11일 인천남동체육관에서 세계의 다채로운 음식 문화를 매개로 청소년들이 문화 다양성을 이해하고 화합을 도모하는 ‘2026 세계 식생활 문화 체험 한마당’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이날 현장에서는 대한민국 중식 요리의 거장 후덕죽 셰프의 특별 쿠킹 클래스가 열려 세계 식문화 레시피를 전수하며 참가자들의 이목을 사로잡을 예정이다.
이와 함께 미래의 마스터 셰프를 꿈꾸는 청소년들이 실력을 겨루는 ‘학생 요리경연대회’가 개최되어 축제의 열기를 한층 더할 것으로 기대된다.
행사장 내에는 세계 각국의 전통음식을 직접 만들고 맛볼 수 있는 ‘오감만족 체험프로그램’과 올바른 식습관 형성을 돕는 ‘교육 세션’ 등 다양한 프로그램이 상시 운영된다.
이번 행사는 원활한 체험 진행을 위해 사전 예약제로 운영되며, 참여를 원하는 학생과 학부모는 6월 17일부터 19일까지 공식 누리집에서 신청하면 된다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “세계적인 마스터 셰프의 클래스부터 미래 인재들의 경연까지 한자리에서 즐길 수 있는 특별한 장을 마련했다”며 “많은 학생과 학부모님이 세계 문화를 맛있게 포용하고, 뜻깊은 추억을 만끽하길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
