<브레이크뉴스 경기북부 = 김일웅 기자> 경기도가 기존 ‘지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE)’를 지산학연 동반성장 모델인 ‘지역성장 인재양성체계(앵커·Anchor)’로 전면 개편하고 혁신 인재 양성에 박차를 가한다.
경기도는 최근 ‘2026년 제2차 경기도RISE위원회’를 열어 사업명칭 변경과 1차년도 연차평가 결과, 신규 과제 수행대학 선정 안건을 심의·의결했다고 17일 밝혔다.
1차년도 연차평가에서는 앵커 사업을 수행 중인 34개 대학 중 경희대, 단국대, 성균관대 등 7곳이 ‘매우우수’ 평가를 받았다. 이들 대학은 대기업 취업, 스타트업 육성 등 도민이 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 성과를 낸 것으로 확인됐다. 도는 우수 평가 이상을 받은 19개 대학에 9월 중 인센티브를 차등 지급할 계획이다.
이와 함께 신규 과제인 ‘G-BRIDGE(일반대 8개교)’와 ‘G-마이스터대(전문대 4개교)’ 수행대학도 최종 선정됐다. 해당 대학들은 향후 4년간 도내 기술 실용화와 현장 인력 공급망 구축을 위해 매년 3억 5천만 원에서 5억 원을 지원받게 된다.
현병천 경기도 미래성장산업국장은 “앵커 체제를 통해 우수한 인적 자원이 지역을 넘어 국가 경쟁력 강화의 동력으로 성장하는 대한민국 대표 지산학 선순환 생태계를 만들어 가겠다”고 강조했다.
