제19대 충청남도교육감직 인수위원회인 ‘충남교육 미래동행 준비위원회’가 도교육청을 비롯한 산하 기관들의 업무보고를 성공적으로 마쳤다. 이병도 당선인은 교육청과 직속기관, 교육지원청 간의 유기적인 협업 체계 구축을 강조하며 본격적인 공약 이행 준비에 들어갔다.
이 당선인은 인수위 보고회 자리에서 “현재의 충남교육을 면밀히 살펴보고 다각도로 분석·토론하는 과정 자체가 도민 교육주권 시대를 여는 첫걸음”이라며, “소통과 공유를 통해 도출한 협력 체제를 바탕으로 실현 가능한 공약 이행 계획을 수립해 달라”고 주문했다.
지난 16일에 이어 17일 충청남도교육청진로융합교육원 대강당에서 열린 보고회에는 인수위원과 전문·정책·실무위원 등 총 182명이 참석했다. 이날은 충남 도내 14개 직속기관과 14개 교육지원청의 업무보고가 진행됐다.
전날 열린 도교육청 보고에 이어 각 기관의 현안을 분석하고 공약 실행력을 높이기 위한 구체적인 로드맵을 다각도로 점검했다. 특히 다양한 분야의 정책위원들이 참여한 질의응답을 통해 공약의 실효성을 높일 새로운 방향성을 모색했다.
이번 인수위는 현장 중심의 정책 발굴을 위해 유치원과 특수·초·중등 교사들이 대거 참여해 맞춤형 의견을 개진하고 있다.
직업·취업·생애지원교육 분과에는 특성화고 학생이 직접 위원으로 동참해 교육 수요자의 눈높이를 반영했다. 또한 학생 상담 전문가의 제안을 통해 아이들에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 공유하며 충남교육이 나아갈 지향점에 대해 참석자 전원의 공감을 이끌어냈다.
이 당선인은 40여 년간 교사와 장학관, 교육장 등을 거치며 쌓아온 풍부한 교육 현장 경험을 바탕으로 심도 있는 대안들을 제시했다. 도교육청 각 부서와 산하 기관, 인수위는 이틀간 진행된 보고회 결과를 토대로 당선인의 공약을 구체적인 정책으로 녹여낼 방침이다.
업무보고 일정을 모두 마친 미래동행 준비위원회는 앞으로 분과별 세부 이행 계획 수립에 집중한다.
정책위원들의 유관기관 현장 방문과 전문가 면담 등 밀착형 활동을 이어간 뒤, 오는 29일 기자회견을 통해 최종 인수위 활동 결과를 대외에 공표할 예정이다.
