엄승용 보령시장 당선인이 공식 취임 전부터 발 빠른 현장 행보를 보이며 '현장 중심 행정'에 시동을 걸었다. 엄 당선인은 17일 관내 주요 현안 사업장 4곳을 연이어 방문해 추진 현황을 점검하고 사업 실태를 직접 파악했다.
이번 현장 방문은 민선 9기 출범을 앞두고 시정의 주요 핵심 사업들을 선제적으로 점검해 향후 도출될 시정 운영 계획에 적극 반영하고자 마련됐다.
엄 당선인은 먼저 청라면 청천저수지 일원의 청천호 관광자원화 사업 현장을 찾았다. 내륙 관광의 새로운 거점으로 기대를 모으는 이곳에서 엄 당선인은 전반적인 사업 진행 상황을 보고받고 시설 곳곳을 둘러봤다.
