민형배 당선인은 17일 오후 화순군 도암면 도장리 마을회관에서 열린 농촌현장 간담회에 참석해 마을 주민들의 애로사항과 건의사항을 직접 경청했다.
이번 간담회는 농촌 현장의 생생한 목소리를 수렴해 향후 통합특별시의 실효성 있는 농업 정책에 반영하고자 마련됐다. 이 자리에는 민 당선인을 비롯해 이규현 농정대전환특별위원장, 김성인 광주전남농민운동동지회장, 박석면 농민운동역사관건립추진위원장, 윤영석 한국유채산업연구회장, 임동성 전농전남도연맹 의장 등 농업계 관계자와 마을 주민 30여 명이 참석해 심도 있는 논의를 나눴다.
이날 간담회에서 주민들은 현장에서 느끼는 생활밀착형 과제들을 대거 쏟아냈다. 주요 건의사항으로는 ▲여성농업인 행복바우처 및 전동차 지원사업 기준 완화 ▲로컬푸드 직매장 확대 및 공공급식 활성화 ▲시설원예 현대화 지원 ▲외국인 계절근로자 숙소 문제 해결 ▲청년농 정착 지원 대책 마련 등이 제시됐다. 아울러 농촌 고령화에 따른 복지 문제와 생활SOC 확충, 농산물 판로 확대, 농촌 교통 여건 개선 등 정주 여건 개선에 대한 목소리도 높았다.
