[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 통영시가 기록적인 집중호우로 발생한 피해 복구와 주민 생활 안정에 행정력을 집중하고 있다.
통영시는 19일 오전까지 공공시설 127건, 사유시설 91건, 기타 19건 등 모두 237건의 피해를 접수했으며, 이 가운데 124건의 응급복구를 완료했다고 밝혔다. 현재까지 집계된 피해액은 약 140억원으로, 추가 피해조사와 복구 작업이 진행 중이다.
도로 피해가 컸던 봉수로 일원은 차량 통행이 가능하도록 임시도로를 확보했으며, 보도블록 등 보행로 정비도 19일까지 마무리할 예정이다.
단수 피해가 발생한 한산도 등 7개 도서지역에는 지난 17일부터 1.8ℓ 병물 2,196병을 지원했다. 현재 좌도를 제외한 지역은 급수가 재개된 상태다.
미수동 일성유수안아파트 지하주차장에서는 차량 101대가 침수됐다. 시는 대형 펌프 등을 투입해 배수 작업을 진행하고 있으며, 20일부터 주차장 내 퇴적물 제거에 나설 계획이다.
중앙시장과 서호시장에서는 100여 개 점포가 침수돼 토사와 폐기물 제거 등 현장 정비를 마쳤다. 시는 피해조사 결과를 토대로 소상공인 지원 방안도 검토하고 있다.
