【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시는 지역경제 활성화와 시민 편의 증진을 위해 유효기간이 도래하는 포항사랑카드를 사전에 확인하고 재발급 받아 사용할 것을 당부했다.

포항사랑카드는 지난 2020년 9월부터 발행됐으며, 카드 발행일로부터 5년간 사용할 수 있다. 유효기간 만료 2개월 전부터는 재발급 신청이 가능하다.
시는 재발급 시 만료된 기존 카드의 잔액을 새 카드로 이전해 사용할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 이를 통해 미사용 잔액이 골목상권으로 신속히 유입돼 소비 촉진과 지역 자금의 선순환 효과를 거둘 것으로 기대하고 있다.
재발급 안내는 포항사랑상품권 운영대행사인 iM뱅크를 통해 유효기간 만료 60일 전에 문자메시지로 발송된다. 또 읍면동 행정복지센터, 판매대행 금융기관, 포항시 홈페이지 등에서도 관련 내용을 확인할 수 있다.
카드 재발급과 잔액 이전은 포항사랑상품권 모바일 앱 ‘iM샵’ 또는 iM뱅크 영업점 방문을 통해 가능하다. 영업점 방문 시에는 신분증과 기존 카드를 지참해야 한다.
또한 포항시청 2층 안내데스크와 읍면동 행정복지센터에서 공카드를 수령한 뒤 모바일 앱 iM샵에 등록해 잔액을 이전할 수 있으며, 앱으로 카드를 신청할 경우 14일 이내 주소지로 배송된다.
만료된 카드의 경우 재발급뿐 아니라 환불 신청도 가능하다. 환불은 iM샵 또는 iM뱅크 영업점에서 신청할 수 있으며, 충전 당시 제공된 할인 혜택을 제외한 실제 본인 부담금만 환급된다.
