고령화와 기후 위기라는 시대적 난제 속에서 대전 농업이 인공지능 그리고 데이터를 무기로 돌파구를 찾는다.
대전농업기술센터는 지역 농업인의 디지털 역량 강화를 위한 ‘AI 기반 스마트농업 아카데미’를 개강한다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 급변하는 농업 환경에 대한 선제적 대응을 위해 마련됐다.
천편일률적인 기계화를 넘어서 데이터 기반 정밀 농업 기술 및 생성형 인공지능을 실제 농사에 활용할 수 있도록 해 농가 경쟁력을 근본적으로 끌어올리겠다는 구상이다.
교육 과정은 4월 16일부터 5월 7일까지 매주 목요일, 총 4회에 걸쳐 센터 내 정보화교육장에서 진행된다.
특히 이번 아카데미는 이론 뿐만 아니라 실제 농업 현장에 즉각 적용할 수 있는 실습 중심의 커리큘럼으로 구성되어 교육생들로부터 높은 기대감을 모으고 있다.
대전농업기술센터는 이번 교육을 통해 농업인들이 작물의 생육 데이터를 분석하고 AI를 활용해 최적의 재배 환경을 설정하는 등 이른바 ‘스마트 파머’로 거듭날 수 있도록 밀착 지원할 방침이다.
