11일 새만금개발공사에 따르면 대한주택건설협회로부터 지난 11일 주택건설사업자 등록증을 교부받았다.

이번 등록증 교부로 '주택법'제4조에 따른 주택건설사업자 자격을 취득해 향후 주택 건설 및 공급 사업을 직접 수행할 수 있는 법적 요건을 갖췄다.

특히 새만금 사업 지역에 양질의 주택 공급을 위해 민간 건설사와 파트너십을 강화하는 등 자체 사업과 민간 건설사 협업 등 다양하고 경쟁력 있는 주택 사업모델 발굴에 박차를 가한다는 계획이다.
