인공지능 기술의 교육 현장 확산에 대비해 학생의 발달 단계와 윤리를 핵심으로 한 새로운 교육 표준 마련이 추진된다.
서울교육대학교 신경윤리·가치AI 융합교육연구소와 대전교육연구소는 6일 정책 자문 협약을 체결하고 미래 교육 모델 구축에 협력하기로 했다.
기술의 효율성보다 존엄성과 아동의 뇌 발달 보호를 최우선으로 교육 정책의 타당성을 검토하는 것이 이번 협력의 핵심이다. 서울교대 연구소는 대전교육연구소 측에 자기조절 능력 향상을 위한 교육 모델과 디지털 기기 활용 가이드라인 등 학술적 자문을 제공하게 될 것으로 알려졌다.
디지털 기기 노출을 스스로 조절하는 능력을 키우는 동시에 교사의 역할을 정서와 사회성을 돌보는 '인간 발달 전문가'로 재정립하는 연구도 병행한다. 대덕연구개발특구의 과학 인프라를 활용해 윤리 의식과 교육적 효과가 결합한 대전만의 특화된 미래 교육 체계를 도출한다는 구상이다.
