한국도로교통공단이 자원 안보 위기에 대응하는 정부 지침에 맞춰 8일부터 임직원 차량 2부제와 민원인 차량 5부제를 전격 시행한다.
국제 에너지 수급의 불확실성이 커지는 상황에서 공공기관으로서 국가적 절약 운동에 앞장서기로 뜻을 모은 것이다.

시도지부나 운전면허시험장을 찾는 민원인 차량에는 5부제를 적용해 시민들의 자발적인 동참과 협조를 구할 예정이다.
나아가 청사 내 난방 온도를 기존 18도에서 17도로 낮추고 점심시간 소등과 옥외 전광판 차단 등 고강도 절전 대책 또한 병행한다는 방침이다.
공단 관계자는 전사적인 절약 조치가 에너지 위기를 이겨내는 실질적인 동력이 되기를 바란다는 뜻을 전하며, 국민들 모두 에너지 절약 실천에 동참해주시길 간곡히 당부드린다고 말했다.
