더불어민주당 김종천 서구청장 예비후보는 11일 오전 11시, '서구사랑 캠프' 개소식을 열고 본격적인 세 몰이에 나섰다.
오는 14일과 15일로 예정된 민주당 경선 투표를 불과 사흘 앞둔 시점에서 지지 기반을 확고히 다지겠다는 배수진을 친 셈이다.
이날 개소식은 지역 정가의 거물급 인사들이 대거 집결하며 그야말로 '본선급' 화력을 과시했다.
박범계(서구 을), 장종태(서구 갑), 장철민(동구) 국회의원과 허태정 전 대전시장 등 친명계 핵심 인물들이 김 예비후보의 곁을 지켰다.
