【브레이크뉴스 포항】박희경 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 지난 20일 2023년 전문대학 혁신지원사업의 일환으로 학생 글로벌 역량 강화지원 프로그램(심화과정) 파견식을 진행했다고 22일 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 내년 1월 21일부터 2월 3일까지 2주간 말레이시아 쿠알라룸푸르에 위치한 링컨대학교(Lincoln University College)에 20명의 학생이 파견되어, 글로벌 직무교육 및 비즈니스 영어, 현지 병원 방문, 취업 특강, 현지 대학생과의 버디 활동을 통한 교류 활동 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행된다.
곽진환 총장은 “이번 연수를 통하여 학생들의 전공과 연계한 언어 능력 향상과 전공 실무 능력을 배양하고 글로벌 역량을 갖춘 전문 직업인으로 성장하는 좋은 경험이 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
안혜정 국제교류교육센터장은 “우수한 역량과 열정을 가진 청년 인재들이 꿈을 향해 한걸음 더 나아가는 계기가 되길 기원한다. 학생들이 글로벌 역량을 갖추고 세계 무대에서 활약해 나갈 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 적극 추진하겠다.”고 말했다.
한편 선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 학생 글로벌역량강화 프로그램뿐만 아니라 교수 글로벌역량강화, 해외 취업활성화를 위한 해외연수 및 해외 취업프로그램, 전문지식을 활용한 해외봉사활동 프로그램 등 다양한 프로그램 운영으로 경쟁력 있는 국제화 인력 양성을 위하여 최선의 노력을 하고 있다.
