23일 시민연대에 따르면, 이들은 지난 21일 정청래 민주당 대표를 비롯해 강득구·문정복·박지원·이성윤·이언주·황명선 최고위원과 양부남·김원이 시·도당위원장 등 당 지도부 10명에게 진상규명 촉구 청원서를 일괄 발송했다. 이와 함께 경선 과정에서 발생한 ‘ARS 먹통’ 의혹에 대한 당의 입장을 묻는 공문도 함께 전달됐다.
시민연대가 제출한 청원서에는 지난 12일부터 14일까지 진행된 경선 당시, 전남 지역 일반 시민 여론조사 중 2,308건의 응답이 중단된 ‘ARS 먹통’ 사태에 대한 명확한 원인 파악과 책임 소명을 요구하는 내용이 담겼다.
