브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 제주항공은 6일부터 모바일 및 키오스크 체크인 단계에서 리튬 배터리 관련 강화 규정에 대한 탑승객들의 동의 절차를 추가해 운영한다고 밝혔다.
제주항공 탑승객은 탑승 전 모바일과 키오스크로 수속할 때 보조 배터리 등 리튬 배터리를 직접 소지해 눈에 보이는 곳에 보관하고, 기내 선반 보관을 금지하는 내용에 대해 확인 후 동의를 해야 수속이 가능하다.
제주항공의 리튬 배터리 규정은 △100Wh 또는 2g 이하 배터리의 경우 보조 배터리는 1인당 5개까지, 노트북∙카메라 등 리튬계열 배터리 장착 전자제품은 1인당 15개까지 휴대 가능 △100Wh 초과 160Wh 이하 또는 2g 초과 8g 이하 배터리가 장착된 기기 및 보조 배터리는 1인당 2개까지 가능 △160wh 또는 8g 초과 배터리는 휴대할 수 없다.
제주항공은 탑승게이트에서 국문∙영문∙일문∙중문 등 4개 국어로 강화된 규정의 안내방송을 진행하고 있으며, 홈페이지와 모바일 탑승권, 국내선 지류 탑승권에도 강화된 규정을 추가해 안내하고 있다.
기내에서도 객실 승무원들이 보조 배터리 등 리튬 배터리 직접 소지 및 과열 발생시 승무원에게 즉시 통보할 것을 안내하는 방송을 2회 실시하고 있다.
